ART + WONDER
Hi, I'm Diana. I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. My experience in varied media such as painting, sculpture, textile and photography informs my work in fashion, the world that has enchanted me most..
My art direction philosophy is that every visual product contains layers of meaning: the superficial, psychological, metaphorical and mythical. The more layers are addressed in the design of a visual piece, the more deeply the viewer is seduced by the piece's message. My work reflects careful attention to these "lines inside the paint."
I love designers and creatives of all sorts. I revel in open collaboration, and build deep connections with brands. I often choose to work with sustainable fashion brands because I believe that Eco/Ethical/Conscious Fashion is the future of our industry. A possibilities person, I love the challenge of figuring out how we can 'get it done' in the most beautiful, inspiring (and fun!) way within each unique set of constraints.
I split my time between NYC and PDX, and when I'm not working I enjoy kicking butt at rock climbing and kung fu ;)
